What levels are offered?
All courses are dedicated to learning medical English, but to improve the quality of learning, we divide students into groups of the appropriate level.
A2
For beginners who “learnt English once in school”
B1
For students with intermediate level of English
B2
For experienced learners who want to improve their knowledge
С1
For mastering high level of language
Speaking course
Speaking course is carried out once a week. Currently levels A2-B1 and B2-C1 are available
Medical Ukrainian
Medical Ukrainian courses are for foreigners and those who would like to improve his/her professional knowledge of Ukrainian.
What are face-to-face and correspondence lesson?
All lessons are carried out online in Zoom. Face-to-face lesson means joining Zoom conference and active work on the lesson. The correspondence format means that teacher provides the student with video recording of the lesson and all materials used in class. In addition, a part-time student can attend 2 regular face-to-face classes with his group (optional) and take a test in each module of 10 classes.
All classes are held online
If a student misses a class, he has the opportunity to review the lesson in the recording and go through the material himself, as well as ask the teacher questions in the common chat.

What is a module?
Each course (with minor differences) consists of 62 lessons, which are divided into modules of 10-12 lessons. Each module includes:

What else do you need to know?
Groups are small: 3-6 people per session; 2 classes per week; the class schedule is agreed with the teacher and can be changed if needed. The duration of the course is from 7 to 9 months (depends on the number of weekends and postponed lessons)

The course consists of 5 modules with 12 lessons each, plus two additional lessons, making a total of 62 lessons. Out of these, 6 lessons are dedicated to speaking practice only, and 6 lessons are tests that allow you to assess your progress.
The following textbooks were used for creating the course: Tony Grice Oxford English for careers Nursing 1 Oxford University Press 2007; Raymond Murphy Essential Grammar in Use Fourth Edition © Cambridge University Press 2015; Virginia Evans English Grammar Book Round-Up 5 published by Pearson Education Limited 2003.
In the lessons, teachers also use other textbooks, articles from English websites, video materials on YouTube and other sources of information to make studying more diverse and interesting.
During the A2 course, you will be able to:
Expand your vocabulary (the course includes more than 850 medical and general terms, compiled into 12 lists using Quizlet.com, which are very convenient to study right on your smartphone)
Improve listening and text processing skills
Stop being afraid of grammar and start using it correctly (the course includes studying present, past and future tenses; passive voice; conditionals; reported speech; adjective comparison; modal verbs and so on)
Improve writing skills and learn expressions used when communicating with a patient, figure out how to be as polite as possible and maintain a dialogue with an imaginary patient.
Check acquired knowledge using tests (the course includes 6 tests)
Improve speaking skills by making monologues and dialogues with colleagues

The course consists of 6 modules with 10 lessons each, plus two additional lessons, making a total of 62 lessons. Out of these, 7 lessons are dedicated to speaking practice only, and 7 lessons are tests that allow you to assess your progress.
The course was created using the following textbooks: “Professional English in Use Medicine,” “Grammar in Use Intermediate,” “Round-Up 5,” “Destination B1-B2,” and “Oxford English for Carers Medicine 1.”
In addition, teachers may use other textbooks, articles from English websites, video materials on YouTube, and other sources of information to make the learning process more diverse and interesting.
During the B1 level course, you will be able to:
Expand your vocabulary (the course includes over 750 medical and general profile words organized into lists using the Quizlet.com website, which can be conveniently studied on your smartphone).
Improve your writing, listening and text handling skills.
Start to use grammar consciously and correctly (the course covers topics such as present, past, and future tenses; passive voice; conditionals; reported speech; adjective comparison; modal verbs; time clauses (wishes); articles, etc. The studying is more detailed compared to the A2 level).
Learn phrases and patterns used in communication with patients, understand how to be polite and maintain a dialogue with an imaginary patient.
В2 course
The course consists of 6 modules with 10 lessons each, plus two additional lessons, making a total of 62 lessons. Out of these, 7 lessons are dedicated to speaking practice only, and 7 lessons are tests that allow you to assess your progress.
When creating the course, the following textbooks were used: “Oxford English for Careers Medicine 1,” “Grammar in Use Advanced,” “Round-Up 5,” “Destination B1-B2,” “Destination C1,” and “Destination C2.”
In addition, teachers may use other textbooks, articles from English websites, video materials on YouTube, and other sources of information to make the learning experience more diverse and interesting.
During the B2 level course, you will be able to:
Expand your vocabulary (the course includes over 800 medical and general profile words organized into lists using the Quizlet.com website, which can be conveniently studied on your smartphone).
Improve your writing, listening and text handling skills.
Make fewer grammatical mistakes (the course covers topics such as present, past, and future tenses; passive voice; conditionals; reported speech; adjective comparison; modal verbs; time clauses (wishes), etc.)
Learn phrases and patterns used in communication with patients, understand how to be polite and maintain a dialogue with an imaginary patient.
С1 course

Speaking course
The course consists of an unlimited number of lessons (once a week or more), during which you will be able to practice such important conversational for doctors as:
Dialogues with patients
Dialogues with colleagues
Explanation of medical terms
Short monologues on specific topics
Small presentations in English
There are two levels available for the Speaking Club:
A2-B1 group (100₴ per 1 lesson of 60 minutes; 500₴ for 6 lessons)
B2-C1 group (120₴ per 1 lesson of 60 minutes; 600₴ for 6 lessons)
Payment for each lesson is sent before the lesson. Occasionally, an English-speaking guest speaker will be invited to the lesson (this will be notified in advance), in such cases the cost of 1 lesson for A2-B1 will be 150₴, and for B2-C1, it will be 170₴. However, if you have taken a package of 6 lessons, the price won’t change for you.
Registration for the speaking lessons takes place in a Telegram chat during the week! When registration starts, you should send a message with “+A2-B1” or “+B2-C1”. If you want to come with a friend, indicate the number of people in your message.
The group size is limited to 6 participants. The queue is formed in the order of sending the “+” signs after the registration starts. If you are unable to attend, you send a “-” sign, and your place will be given to the next participant in the queue. If there are 10 or more participants of the same level before the lesson, if possible we try to conduct two lessons of that level at the same time!
Individual lessons
If you want to study English for a narrower specialty or to prepare for a trip, conference, exam (especially OET), etc., we also offer individual lessons.
Together with the teacher, you will create a study plan according to your requires and focus on exactly what you need.
The cost of such classes is 400 hryvnias for 1 hour. You can also attend these classes with colleagues by creating a private group, in such case the price will depend on the number of people and will be negotiated individually.
Medical Ukrainian
We also offer lessons in medical Ukrainian for foreigners and those who want to improve their knowledge of Ukrainian.
The program for such lessons is tailored individually based on the student’s needs.
Individual lessons cost 400₴ per hour, while group lessons cost 200₴.

Lessons in classical English
We also offer lessons in classical general English. These lessons will help you to master English at your desired level. You can choose to have individual lessons or join a private group.
